I am a 1971 Scout 800 that I put new leaf springs on from IH Scout also 5 inch shackle front and back. Also converted front and rear to disc brakes. Does anyone know what the size wheel and tire I can fit on this scout 800. And where you got these wheels? Thank you.
 
You should comfortably fit 33x12.50s on 15x8 wheels with that setup. Some guys run 35s with minor trimming. Popular wheel brands are American Racing and Pro Comp. Just make sure the wheels clear your disc brake calipers.
 
Most Scout guys run around 3.75” 4” backspacing on a 15x8 wheel to avoid rubbing leaf springs and steering components. Common choices are American racing wheels and pro comp wheels both have styles that fit Scouts well.
 
33" size tires are pushing it for clearance. No 35" tires will not fit. IH Parts America sells both tires and wheels. I would suggest reaching out to one of our sales staff and they will be able to take care of your needs.
