whats so different between 72 AND 73

I have whats labeled as a 72 Travelall but looks like it has a 73 front brakes/suspension. In my research the 72 never came with the option for front disc brakes and mine most certainly have them. And need replaced.

Now the question is, for brakes and front suspension whats changed. Any help would be great, I need to get truck running for daily by this weekend as my other truck died today.

Nothing. Front discs brakes were available for the '72-73 1010 2wd pu/ta. Most of the parts can still be sourced. New rotors aren't cheap if you need them, but they can be had. Best to call us during biz hours for assistance with this.
