Hello,
I am rebuilding a Dana Spicer 18 Transfer case on my 1965 International Scout, and I wanted to ask what Snap Ring Pliers have folks used to remove the snap ring that retains the output shaft? I have several snap ring pliers, but so far, none fit down into the the slot which is pretty narrow. Looks like the snap ring has a 7/32" opening and is 1/16" wide. The gap to get into the case is 7/32" as well.
Seems like the pliers would need to expand the snap ring so it can drop off the bottom of the shaft.
If folks know what number Waldes Truarc plier would work, or could post of pliers that they have used and have had success with that would be great!
Thanks!
