what shocks to use

I have a 75 Scout II that has SOA and running 35's. Shocks feel like they are done... I didnt do the spring over so dont know what's there now other than they are ranchos. How do I determine what shocks to use obviously the stock shocks will not work.

I only do light 4 wheeling easy trails some light mudding so I do not wheel hard. Prefer road comfort over other things (I know take the 35's off if I want road comfort I like the looks)

am price concious but understand you get what u pay for.

Help

We carry Bilstein shocks. If you can provide us with the measurements for your vehicle we can set you up with what we have. I will need to know the center to center measurement of your shocks at static height, full droop and then fully compressed with the bumstops(if you have any). Cost on bilsteins are $84 each. Please also let us know if you are running stock style shocks in the front or have shock towers installed as the mounting end of the shocks are different.

Ok finally got to this I'ma rookie so will explain how I took measurement to make sure I did it right

static was 15 5/8 in front and 17 7/8 rear- measured as it sat
full droop 19 1/4 front and 19 1/2 rear- measured by jacking up at the frame till tire was in the air.
Compress 15 1/4 in front and 17 1/2 rear- measured by jeacking up on the axle till tire was up and it distance between top of axle and bump stop was not getting any smaller. ( incidently doesnt seem like much of a compressed distance.

Measurement top of the axle to the bump stop front static 1 1/4 inch and 6 3/8 rear.

Current shocks were rancho rs 5117 front and rs5113 rear. All 4 were so bad that I took them off competely and drove the rig and didnt notice the difference.

Could you provide pn you would recommend. Thanks!

When you are ready to order just call and remind me of this post and I can pick out the shocks that will best fit.
