What have I gotten myself into????

It's been a while since I've posted any updates so here we go. The motor is done and the suspension is finished. Also I rebuilt the front and rear axles while they were out. This week I'll finish all the odds and ends involved with putting the motor and transmission back in, the rear floor is going back in followed by the fuel tank, and Friday it's going to the exhaust shop. Then next week it'll get rewired and hopefully I can fire it up.

Did you change the spring or shackle hangers with the new suspension?

If you purchased lifted springs & they were the same length as the originals, the distance between eyes on the springs will be shorter because of a longer/wider arc. (this will decrease the angle of the shackles).
Longer shackles will compound the issue.

Easiest solution for right now would be to put shorter shackles on it for the short term... The springs May soften/flatten out a bit. If that happens you can swap the current shackles back in.

If the above doesn't work (after wheeling/driving it for a few months), the best thing to do would be to move the shackle hanger in or get longer springs.
