Mine is in the process of giving up for the last time. On the run on Sunday it went from popping out of 1st to not holding 1st gear at all unless you physically hold it in gear....

So --- anyone got a t-19 transmission laying around? 2wd/4wd/close/wide what ever...

Thanks!!!

See what happens when you try and do shit yourself. Now your gonna pay for it twice. :dita:

Still cheaper than paying you :dita: :dita: :dita:

actually I don't think it had anything to do with my rebuilding skills -- just more to do with 30 year old parts and not paying for new parts.

I said nothing about paying me. A decent trans shop could have done it in a day with a warranty. Then you wouldn't be out the time/labor/$$ of having to do it again. Canby trans could do it for around $400. Last I checked.

I have more time than money. I have $22 (give or take $5) into the last one and it lasted 2+ years. I'll put $100 into this next one. Get a couple years out of it -- and then I will be off onto some other transmission/engine setup.

And do you really think I would have gotten a transmission rebuild for $400 with a 2 year warranty??
