Valve cover hold down brackets

Does anyone know if there are any valve cover hold down brackets for a 392 pick up truck. I replace the valve cover gasket but it’s still leaking.

The cover bolts are the only means of holding them in place. The holes in the covers can get distorted from the bolts being over-tightened. Check them against a flat surface to ensure they're true. If distorted, they can be re-trued with strategic whacks from a ball peen hammer. Rubber or cork gaskets? Dry or gooped?

Rubber gaskets and I put a little seal on both sides. Leaking like a sieve.

Did you clean out the Head drain holes in the back corners while you had it open, plenty of times these are plugged with old junk and allow the valve covers to fill up with oil making it much worse.

If you take the covers back off you should hammer the areas around the screw holes flat before reinstalling, don't crank em down so tight you distort the cover or push the gasket out.
