Unusual leak

I noticed something dripping from the bell housing on my 1966 IH 1200A pickup recently. It was a really steady drip, maybe two drops per second and I thought my rear main seal was leaking (which I was dreading because the transmission is so heavy and I had to buy the $160 kit to get the rear main seal)

I caught some of the fluid dripping and turns out it’s brake fluid? It really looks like it’s seeping out from within, but that’s impossible? Maybe it’s running down the slave cylinder linkage?

I checked the reservoir and confirmed it’s down halfway.

What do you guys think?

Without seeing it (no photo) I would guess it is your clutch slave cylinder and/or clutch hydraulic line leaking.
Check it out.
The clutch slave cylinder is mounted to the rear end of your right hand cylinder head.
Good luck.

Thanks, I’ll check there first! I did replace the slave cylinder so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s leaking now haha

sorry I didn’t include a photo, it’s intermittent so there’s nothing really to show now.
Slave looks bone dry! Maybe it will start to leak after driving around, but I’m not sure that’s the problem. I tightened the fitting a bit but it’s already really tight.
