Unknown Holley Carp

I have a Holley carb from a 1974 International 200 Pickup with a 345. I have looked and searched the list I found on the choke tower and it doesn't show up on their list. The list number is 6386-1S or maybe a 5. I am looking to rebuild this and can't seem to find all the info I need.

So ironically I was looking though the rebuild kit in the store here and they listed the kit and the list number that they matched with. Who knew I found the kit I needed. Holley must not go back that far?

It's an obsolete carb, so yeah, probably not much interest from Holley where those are concerned. Holley Performance Products is just a name brand anymore owned by a large conglomerate. That list number and IH part number combo refers to a model 2300 from a 1971 345 engine with auto trans and AC according to my records. Someone modified the hot air automatic choke housing to accept a cable actuated linkage.

Is it possible to revert that back to the hot air choke without buying a new choke tower?

If you have all the associated pieces...the hot air tubing, the tube provision/fitting atop the exhaust manifold, removal of the cable linkage, epoxy the hole drilled in the thermal cap...then I suppose it could work. In my experience, Holley auto chokes on these older carbs, be they hot air or electric, tend to be cumbersome and finicky to keep adjusted for consistent, year round performance. My recommendation is to purchase the manual choke conversion kit that allows not only control of the choke plate, but also provides increased engine idle speed that corresponds with how much or little choke is applied at a given time.
