twin stick good or bad

whaddya call it when you do it for the rear axle? Rear dig?

Old thread, but since someone already bumped it this year....

The rear only is called a "rear burn", or is sometimes called a rear dig.

Fronts can also be called "front burns" but are usually a "front dig".

So where's the write-up on twin-sticking a d20?? Without a tear down. I guess there is a special "pattern" of twisting and pulling to get the shift-rails out without a tear down to remove the pills....

So if you take a "standard" Scout II Dana 20, and just twin-stick it without any shift-rail mods... What modes can you not get?? I know with a Scout d300 you loose the option of "front high only"... But I know for a d20 its different......

I did not change any of the internals when I twin sticked my 20. The only problem is that it has been so long since it was drivable I forgot what I can and cannot do. But I do know that if you do not modify the shift rails you can put 1 in hi and the other in low. I think front hi is the only option I do not have.
