hi everyone,

spring has almost sprung and it’s nearly time for the first ohv trail work party of 2011!

Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011

time: 9:00 – 2:00

location:

· 4x4s / quads = rogers camp (with jahmaal rebb 503.359.7463)

· motorcycles = diamond mill (with dave hiatt 503.815.7024)



project work:

trail assessment. Get out on the trails and help odf prepare spring spruce up work plans by completing trail assessments

Just talked with jahmaal, he said this is an assessment of the trails current conditions. He said to bring a chainsaw if you had one to move downed trees.


Nobody interested? Only a 50% chance of rain!!
 
I will be moving my brother in law from twin falls this weekend so I won't be around. But it is a very worthwhile cause!
 
Weather spoiled our picture plans, I'm back on for tomorrow. Have an open seat, let me know if anyone wants to go!
 
Well it was a good run! Got hooked up with a group of land rovers and found some deep snow! Figured I fit in better with the rover guys than the toyota guys plus one of them had a ham!

One of the rover guys broke both his rear axle shafts (open diff in the snow+skinny pedal) so they headed back early. I spent the rest of the day tagging along with a group of j**ps.

There were probably 20-30 rigs in the parking lot that all split up to go over different trails, we moved one downed tree and got two bags of garbage, good trip :icon_up:
