I have a 1973 Scout II w the stock Dana 44. It seems to be becoming positrac on its own. When I jack both wheels off ground and tun 1 wheel, they both turn. There is no resistance, but both wheels turn as if a solid axle. If I jack one wheel up (other wheel on ground) it takes 10 to 20 pound of break-away force to rotate the raised wheel. Once I get it moving it has less resistance but there is still some there (maybe 3-4 pounds to keep it rotating). There is plenty of oil in the diff. The driveshaft turns freely as long as both wheels are free to turn at same time. Any ideas what the problem/fix is?
