Regarding the best fuel tank cleaning/coating systems, Craig took a pretty good photo of the inside of his tank. That reminded me of one of the cool tools we have here at work, (doesnt get used nearly as often as it should) a rigid inspection camera.

Neat tool, and for what it is at about $200 its not terribly expensive. Something like this would come in handy for taking a look inside that fuel tank!
 
I agree it is a "cool tool". Id like to be able to justify buying one myself, but I guess in the event, I could borrow one from work, he heh. Pretty neat to be part of something like that.
 
We've got 2 of 'em at work. Very handy and a real labor saver. Twice we've found sewer laterals that weren't on any prints. One time I used it to trace down some coupons that some welders left in a condensor water line for a chiller, after they put in some weldolets years before. One hung up in a regulating valve, 2 where up against the condensor's tube sheet rubbing a hole in on the tubes from the turbulence. Ours are older, the screen is about the size of a microfiche.
 
Snap-on came by with one of those about a month back. I really want one but snap-ons price was closer to $400. I think I'll be buying the rigid one. Thanks for posting.

Iirc the rigid ones were $395.00. Maybe they have come down. At work we bought one to see how the project worked out.
