Will the 727auto transmission in a 78 traveler with 345 4wd. Connect to a 71 scout II 2wd 4sd manual 258 AMC inline 6. I know the flywheel on the 258 would have to be changed . Is the bell housing bolt pattern the same between the two engines? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Or what would be the best transmission to use?
