What are you guy doing for floor coverings on topless rigs. Right now I have just the steel tub, but dang the floor and tranny tunnel get hot. I would not mind doing carpet and such but I worry about it getting wet and moldy if I'm stuck in a storm. Also water absorbing in and rusting the floor out
am I overthinking this and making it more complicated then it needs to be.
 
Spray in some lizard skin. You can buy it at summit racing. They make one for heat and one for noise. It's a water based product so even if your Scout caught fire the product itself doesn't add fuel to the fire. Once applied spray paint over it as the product itself is not designed for direct sunlight. We use this product in almost every build we do.
