Throttle cable pivot stud

I'm looking for this part that broke as I was tightening it on my newly rebuilt carb.
Anyone know where I could get a new one? I tried the place that did my carb but it's an IH part and they can't order it.

If you get online and look for throttle ball joints you can buy the whole works.

That is a 3/16" ball stud but it has the "shoulder" on it for the kickdown rod for the autotrans. Any auto parts should have a 3/16" ball/socket assembly, you just remove the ball and use only that part.

For the "stud" segment, I use the center roller from a #50 (or metric #530) roller chain. Slide it over the shoulder and mount it up!

Get online and go to reidsupply.com and search for ball joints. They have all kinds of them.

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure I cut it down, beveled the end and welded a bolt with the same thread to it. Cut the extra off and cleaned up the end and, boom, just like new.
