I have an 80 model with the 727 trans in it. I am searching for a trans that is aleast a 4 speed, that way it will have some type of overdrive. Any of yall know or have done a swap with the 727 trans.

If you're wanting to stick with an auto, the GM 700r4 swap using an adapter kit from advanced adapters which can be purchased right here from the ihon store is the most common and feasible option.
