Taking the liberty

I know it's early but I can not wait to get this summer started. Jeff and I have long talked about heading over to crater lake after the bee and well, I know he is just way to busy to think about it that far out right now so I went ahead and made reservations for the both of us. The plan is to head to Maybens on Sunday following the bee, then there is a little campground in between crater lake and Maybens I have always wanted to stay at. Then from there to crater lake for a few days. Can not wait!!

What are your summer vacation plans?

By the way Jeff, you reservations are paid in full and non-refundable :ihih:

Well sheeat...we May just have to barge in on this pardee too when we all leave here after the bee post-wind-down here on the river!

We've never been to crater lake either!

But we don't do reservations since we never know where we'll be at any point in time at our age! We'll fake it and play by ear!

We'll just toss all the bee paraphernalia in the shop, everyone can take a real shower and wash clothes, then we'll go agin!

Pack them bearings this time boyezz... On all yore shit!

Yeah you for sure should come along!!!! The only camping I was really worried about was crater lake, the other campground mid week I know won't be a problem but I wanted it paid for now. Makes it easier on me.

I am going simple this year, not gonna tow anything. The Scout is staying in it's winter hiding spot for the summer as well I think.

Erin the boys and I are going to leave on Friday the 9th and head up to lassen park for that weekend. Then drop into her parents place (about 40 minute drive from the campground we stay at) for Sunday night. Do showers and laundry then head over to whiskeytown just outside of redding for a couple of days. Then meet Jeff, norma and the kids in redding shoot up to the bee, and from there follow the above plans.

All in all should be another really great summer trip.

Here is the new rig
