T34 trans questions

Does anyone know anything about the t34? I know what the gear ratios are, I'm wondering if it's any good, available, t/case adapter for Dana 300 or NP205? I've been researching a cummins 4bt swap which would need an od when geared for trail use.

You're better off going with a nv4500. The t34 trannies are somewhat hard to find and outdated plus there are no transfer case adapters availble for it.
 
I've heard good and bad about the nv4500, plus they aren't cheap and I am! :gringrin: my t19 wide is probably outdated too. Heck, I'm outdated. What vehicles used the t34?
 
Thanks Jeff. I'm just trying to figure out what my options are. The nv4500 would definitely be the easier way to go. If I don't find a job soon I won't have any Scout!
