T-19 vent

Where is the vent on a t-19?

Since I changed fluids in the trans and txr case, I've developed one heck of a leak. So, I wanted to check my vents to see if it could be something that simple.

It should be in the top cover - I wanna say driverside rear.

It is just a little vent cap unless it has been converetd to a fitting with a hose barb and hose on it.

I've never seen one that wasn't gummed up in a stock transmission.

The odd thing is, it did not leak until I swapped fluids. I guess the new fangled stuff with the detergent packages cleaned away all the gunk that had her sealed up....

Dont think so.... I filled it from the bottom using a transfer pump. Added enough untill oil ran out of the pipe plugged hole on the side of the case.
