I ordered swepco 210 tonight from the web sight, I am going to put this oil in my diffs, Dana 20, and 4 speed trans, I think it is a wide ratio t-19. Do I need to really clean the old oil out or can I drain the t case and transmission and re fill with the swepco? As far as I can tell from reading on the form the swepco oil is compatible with the left over vavoline gear oil…
 
Compatibility - wise, the swepco 210 would be compatible with the valvoline gear oil you presently have in those units. I would suggest tho, that you take the rig out and run it until everything is warmed up to operating temperature, that way the viscosity of the oil will be thinner and easier to drain. If possible, let it drain overnight, but that is not absolutely necessary. Check any magnets for excessive metal wear, and inspect the gears when you pull the covers.
