Swapping Questions???

Ok, so here it goes. I have two Scout II's. Each are 76, each have auto's. The green Scout has a decent drive train but a pretty bad body ( horrable floor boards, no rockers, and rusted out body mounts. The engine in the green Scout has a bunch of leaks including what I believe is a rear main seal leak.

The orange Scout has a pretty decent body, minor rust on quarter panels and a little rust on the floor boards. Engine runs good and doesn't have any leaks that I can see, but looks as if the po went mudding before it went in storage. It has no brake pressure (possibly due to no brake fluid in the rear part of the master cylinder, not sure what would cause that???). The trans is bad, and the differential doesn't engage, at all... And it sits way to low to the ground. I bought it from the original owner and its completely stock, heard that was pretty rare.

Both are four wheel drive, the green Scout's engine is a 345, I thought the orange Scout had a 345 but the intake manifold looks different and the distributor is different.

I'm trying to figure out what would be the best option for me to get one working Scout out of two. Body swap or lots of parts swap???

If I swap the bodies, I will have to dismantle everything that touches the firewall. Then find some way to lift the body off of the scouts and do the switch-a-roo.

If I leave the bodies alone I will need to tranfers the green scouts leaf springs, trans/diff, master cylinder/booster over to the orange Scout.

I'm not sure what option would be the best bet. For right now my goal is to get a running, driving, safe vehical. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
