swapping out a holly for a prestolite dizzy ?

I'm trying to test a p-lite dizzy in my Scout...it has now a holly gbox, can I install the p.lite an just hook it up to the coil an be ok ? Just for testing it...tia ! Jeff,kinda

You'll have to temporarily bypass the switched power feed that goes through the gb amplifier before hitting the gb dizz. I think you could just run a jumper from the battery + to presto + for a quickie test. Just remove it asap.
