Stolen Scout 11 Sacramento area

Not sure this is the correct place to post this, but please keep a lookout in the sacramento area for my 1975 scout II completely restored pic attached. I had this truck 30 years needless to say very disturbing. Please post here if anyone has any information

Ah man that's great news...I also have one that's been in the family since '74 and it would kill me to find out it was stolen.
Great start to a NEW YEAR!

Great news Gary!!

I wanted some type of effective anti-theft device as my son is taking to campus the Scout we restored for him. This is the only one I thought had a chance of working: https://www.ravelco.com/. Basically, it is wires to splice into two different circuits required for the engine to run (think coil, fuel pump, starter, electronic ignition, etc., depending on your setup). The circuits are completed in a two part hub of 16 sockets in the base and you need the cap with the appropriately connected 16 pins to compete the two circuits. The hub mounts under the dash, and the wires in the dash are protected with flexible conduit through the firewall. Splices are made under the hood and hidden with appropriate loom. Not cheap but I saved by doing it myself. It could be defeated but it would take knowledge of the device and a long time to identify the modified circuits and reconnect appropriate wires.
