When I took my steering wheel off of my 1964 scout 80 the steering shaft must have slipped down because I no longer have enough threads to put the wheel back on. I have tried pulling it up but it just will not let me raise it up far enough the front wheels will still turn but not getting it high enough. Any tricks or ideas about what happened. Thanks
