Stalling out after high RPM rev

Good day,

I've a '62 C112 with the 266, a T-98, and 4.10 gearing out back. I've had this truck for about 12 years now and have rarely had issue with the old boy. Recently he's been un-drivable due to stalling/choking after high revs, in or out of gear. The truck will idle until it dries out the tank, but one rev up will kill it.
I started with the fuel filter, moved to the pump, took apart and cleaned the carb, checked fuel flow, verified points adjustment (someday HEI), checked vac and mechanical advance, spark gaps are good, wires aren't arcing, proper charge from genny, voltage regulator is new.
What am I not thinking of or overlooking?
My thanks in advance. I've learned a lot from this site and everyone here seems very knowledgeable.

Typical causes are failed accelerator pump in the carburetor and/or stuck mechanical advance weights in the distributor. Failed vacuum advance unit on the distributor can also contribute to this situation.
Also, check that your static timing is around 5 degrees BTDC.

Should've mentioned the accelerator pump was changed when the carb was put back together. The springs on the mechanical were replaced for good measure, and the vac diaphragm isn't perforated. Haven't verified static timing though.
A new coil is in order. Hadn't really considered that since this issue can take place without normal temp being reached, but inductive heat builds fast regardless of engine temp.
Thank you. I'll post after giving those a look.

Turned out to be the coil. Replaced and drove as he always has. Verified timing just because I was standing there, right where it should be. Thank you for the assistance. Can hardly believe I hadn't considered the coil.
