Spring over scout help

I need some help from some guys who did a SOA already.
I'm using my stock dana44. My questions are can I set my spring perches directly opposite factory? Or how to figure that out? Also to set pinion angle do I start at leave then move it up to what? What is best pinion angle?

In my mind I mock up the pinion angle then set perches level then turn my c's -6 degrees. Is that right?

Also can I set perches in rear opposite of factory or do I need to point it at tcase?

What year is your rig? Is the front axle original to the said rig?

The Scout front axles are slightly tricky to do a SOA on. It requires some welding on the cast iron housing for the passenger side spring perch. If you are not familiar with any welding on cast iron, then I recommend sourcing out the work to some one who does, or have a light line dealer, like IHPA, to complete the front axle housing. It would also be ideal for ya to do a cut and turn on the c's at the same time. That will help with caster for alignment. At the moment I forget the number of degrees of rotation, but I think its around +5*

yes you could mount the new spring perches opposite of the oem mounts. On the rear, it kinda depends on the type of drive shaft you have.
