Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and new to owing my first scout. Hoping to learn from everyone here and would appreciate your tips/ recommendations on what spare parts you carry when prepping for an extended road trip or going out wheeling. I know you can’t prepare for everything, but trying to get a sense of what everybody has experienced and learned from to be better prepared for next time. Here is what my current rig set up is:
1970 Scout 800A
304 V8 5.0L 4x4
4 speed w/ T-19 transfer case
44 rear 3.73 with Drums and Dana 30 w/ Front Disc
Full CPT 2.5” loft w/ bilstein shocks
D&C Vacuum Break Booster
Power Steering
Old Air Products AC unit
Holley Sniper 2BBL EFI
CPT Gold Tie Rod and Drag Link
Bill Hamilton electronic distributor
Holley HP Billet Fuel Filters 2x
Borgeson Steering Joints
Any help with what you have come across that has been helpful or perhaps what you keep in a box in the rear just in case would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!
