Something funny for our Oregon Friends

Howdy all!

In addition to internationals, I've got one other nasty addiction: english cars. For my facebook friends, you May have seen my '72 triumph stag. It seems that someone took a photo of it when it was parked in la jolla over a year ago and the website "jalopnik" did a bit of a feature on it.

Anyway, while cruising the jalopnik web site, I was surprised to see my car there! So, I emailed the editor with some additional pictures and a few additional details about the car and he put an updated discussion on the web page about it.

If you're unfamiliar with the website jalopnik, half the fun is in the commentary that follows the news story. I put in a comment or two under my handle "zeusnemesis" and there's even a good one in there that mentions internationals.

Where do ya git them lifesize blow up barbie dolls??? So they have doubleside carpet tape on the azzend to stick on the paint work??

I needa dozena them plastic blowup chicks up here for shop ornaments. Mikeer needs one to stick in the co-pilot seat on uber so them barneyfifes will give him some respect.

If that ain'ta la jolla ride, I don't know what is!

I saw that stuff on your fb but though cindy does the stag justice she really does compliment your internationals more naturally. You can see in the jalopnik photo that she would rather be sitting on a Scout.

That is great stuff Brian. Congrats on the exposure. They would still be selling that car today if they had used cindy in their adds.

Hey mayben: careful what you wish for. Them blow up barbies are nice but they get expensive to keep around. They want all the barbie accessories: the barbie convertible sports car, the barbie house......and all the rest. (they do look very ornamental around shiny cars, however.)

drew: yep. She does like the Scout better. =)
