someone to rebuild my carb!!!

Helo all, I have a 60's Scout with a 152 motor and the original 1904 carb. I was wondering if I can get someone to rebuild/recondition it. I recently bought a new carb, but the linkage was a little more comlpcated than my father and I wanted to deal with. Please message me or refer me to the carb guru so we can get this old hog running!
Much appreciation

Another bit of info. Before we got the new carb, we installed a rebuild kit on the og carb. Problem was the float bowl seems to be deformed slightly so it leaks gas. Otherwise the internals are new. I just need someone to recondition and straighten it out.

Where are you located? Theres a few guys on here that can do the carb for you, it might be that one is nearby.
The 1904 is the duckbilled plattypuss of carbs and need special attention.

You can do this!

I had the same issue on my 1904. I found that if I made my own slightly thicker gasket, the gas leak was fixed. $10 fix!

I used the thicker gasket material from this set and cutout the gasket shape with scissors. It worked really well.

There are also some instructions on how to straighten the bowl/body with head and a vice. I found this was much easier.

Good luck!

Or a piece of wet/dry 220 grit sand paper on a piece of glass. Sand warped surface flat using lots of water and you're back in business.
