softopper fitting over a roll cage?

I'm in the middle of building a full cage for my 73 beast (to fit with the hard top on) and started to think about other options. And softopper has been an consideration. I have had bakini tops on one of my scouts in the past and know that they will fit the roll cage. But my question is -
a) will a softopper fit a full roll cage that's already built in the Scout II's?

B) or would the softopper need to be installed first, then the cage built?

The rule of thumb has been if the hard top fits the roll cage then the soft top should fit it too.

Appreciate it. I haven't seen the softoppers in person, yet, to get the full scope of how they are mounted. Only a few photos here and there scattered around the net.
