Snow run (when it snows)

Thinking about doing an over nighter. Probably end of January or beginning of February. Either airport flats area or north south road off of iron mountain rd.

The snow run sounds like fun. I might sleep in my Scout. Sleeping in a tent on the snow doesn't sound fun!

Yes sleeping on the snow can be a cold adventure.
Mike sleeps in his cabover camper, with a heater.
Matt has a tent heater
I used those hand warmers to stay warm. I toss a few down the sleeping bag and two on my pillow and I'm good.
I do have a nice thick mat. A cot is not a bad way to good as it gets you off the ground. Snow is very lumpy to sleep on.

Thanks for the work offer, I hope to get some time off here, but well see.

My tent sleeps two comfortably, might get a second heater depending on the temp. If it's raining I'm sleeping in the Scout. If it's snowing the tent will be ok , but will need a couple of extra tarps. Also have a cot that keeps me off the ground away from the bumps and cold. I'm hoping a lot of snow drops between now and then.
