Snow run Jan 2nd

if I had a bit more time to plan I could do an overnight trip. We have an rv trailer I could pull. I still need to set the Scout up with a trailer hitch

jeese if you don't make the sat. Run we could take the road from ice house to wrights lake. I was just on the back side of union valley last week for some sleding.

:icon_eh:
your gonna pull an rv trailer with a rig your gonna wheel in.
Thats like shooting yourself in the foot and then planning to run a marathon.

Craig, this is how you need to roll:winky: .

I'm out. I'm going to go to iron mountain instead. Sorry man. It's about 45 mins away compared to about 2 hours. Have a great time...

is the implication here that 7n09 is an off camber road next to a cliff? And we are going to go wheeling on this road, while covered in snow and ice? :icon_eek:

let me check my life insurance policy is paid through 2009, I might have other plans....................

7n09 is a logging road. I was thinking of that one spot on fordyce thats a bit hairy lol

California trails

Mike your right about that, but I don't have a camper for my pickup.

Randy p. Took this one of me. Notice the angle of his hood:winky:

Some pics from yesterday. I have to learn how to post full size photo's. Snow was hard to stay on top of, the only issues was tire pressure and beads. Optimal tire pressure = 4lbs.

Looks like a fun time. How deep was the snow? Did either of you guys stay overnight?

On the next run I'll bring my suburban just incase you guys get stuck

we went up iron mountain road to let the kids play in the snow, talk about a cluster. But it was still fun being up there.

Looks like you guys had a great time. The weather was pretty nice at my place so I spent the whole day cutting firewood and burning brush.

I'll chat at you later Mike about that future snow run. Looks like the 17th is no good for me as the wife reminded me that my sister is flying in that weekend and I'm her ride from the airport.

Looks like a great time Mike thanks for the invite. My cell was in the trk all weekend so I just got the message. I have ben following this thred for a while tho. Are rig is so stock you guys probly would have lost us befor the jeeps. Are you planing any other runs soon my son is realy looking foward to gooing. We are having dinner with b.a.b.s. Bunch Tuesday night we will see waht the think about a snow run soon.

Wow looks deep!! I went up iron mountain Sunday and there was only a few people there. I saw a gaggle of jeeps and three toyota's and that was it. My brother and I got stuck a few times, once you broke through the top the snow underneath was just fluff and would not pack.

On the way back down, there was a long down hill section so I jump in the kid's sled and went for a long ride.

Sat the 10th and 24th I have stuff to do. Sundays look to be open. And does the 17th.
