Anyone else want to go? We have several scouts and alot of other misc. Iron coming along, including a couple of moggs and a volvo.

Trev and hooty, and Mike and uber have other commitments Saturday, so they will have to make the next trip. :dita:

I'm ready.... I will be there... Or I loaded everything for nothing.

Chris, can't wait for Saturday. I tightened up the bolts on the front driveline last night. After terry's front driveline mishap I thought it would be a good idea to check mine. I just need to top off the gas, check fluids and pack a lunch.

We should be up there sometime between 8 and 9. My espn tells me closer to 9. Nobody ever shows up on time.

Can someone do a realtime webcam taped to a rollbar???

Them 'lectric carburetor rigs needa dam laptop runnin' 'em fulltime anyway, just do a cellphone interface and drive!

Yawl can be pioneers in virtual junkiron trailrides, I'm gittin' rollcage feeds from skip outta his 911 porsche in the vintage roadrace series outta tejas! That way the rest of us can burn yore pusholine!

You supply the camera and I'll make sure it gets mounted on a rollbar.

where's the damage report? What's the holdup?

Monte trashed a locking hub-- and one of monte's guys destroyed a Jeep Dana 30 front end. Not much else to report. Wheeling was light to moderate. Dan tried one 'impossible' hill, it was too sandy and loose to make it past the 1st ledge --- so it remains 'impossible'

the unimog guys that joined us where great - cool trucks - cool guys - great wheeling attitudes.

I think I took some pictures - nothing great though.

Glad you guys had fun. This must of been the weekend for wheel'in. Julia and I took the yellow Scout out today. Everything was great, no breaks. Toward the end we found a trail like in your 5th picture, the way she was seated in you'd have thought we were gonna launch! Next weekend will be our turn with a family campout on the trask. How do you get to the one in the picture? Generally of course, I've got a map so just a few roads would help.

The fifth picture is big bertha. It is on the trask trail map. Good luck climbing it. In the four years I have been wheeling in the trask I have not seen anyone make it. Little bertha is just up the road from big bertha and it is a much more realistic challenge.

What area of the trask are you camping in? If I know where you will be I could point you in a general direction.

That was quite a crew that showed up! Certainly not a "small" gathering! And what a great assortment of rigs!!

Do we wanna know what chris and amber are winchin'???

And jen looks like she been eatin' possum...again!

Thank you monte. We'll be at trask river park. It's 12 miles up trask river road from hiway 6. We'll be there from the 7th to the 11th. Last time we were there I went to triangulation peak for a look see; quite a few 2 wheelers were impressed but it wasn't that hard or technical. Just spotted some activity and went for it.
I just want to look for now and scope things out. Or so I say. I really wanted to go this time, but with gas "rations" and a 4 hr drive minimum, it was just too close to the "vacation".
I'll leave the light on for any and all IH visitors.
We don't serve chupacabra, sorry, but we make do:gringrin:

Well chupacabras are extremely rare and almost mystical. Mike was formulating some new kind of fish mating scent to soak his flies in. There was some kind of backfire on the doghawler (not sure why it was running while he was in the garage but I think that exhaust from an IH 196/152 experimental hybrid engine had something to do with the formulation) it startled him and he ended up spilling an entire bottle of marvel mystery oil into his bubbling batch of fish spanish fly. There was smoke and some kind of explosion that caused a burning sensasion in Mike he's never been able to get rid of... But almost right after the accident chupa's have been dying to get to him, literally. It's some kind of new superpower. Be wary of the day when Mike harnesses and understands the full power of the chupacabra. There will be no place for criminals and j**p owners to hide.

so don't worry if you can't seem to find any chupacabras to cook up.:winky:

Greg, you want to get to murphy's camp road. Big and little bertha are located off of that road. Nothing is clearly marked but if you flag down a dirt bike rider, they can point you in the right direction.
