I currently have a t90 transmission in my 65 Scout. I plan to swap an sm420 along with a Chevy 350. Should I move the transmission crossmember now or wait till everything in connected (engine, trans and t/c)? I have the 350 engine mounts installed already, so my concern is that without the engine I won't know how far back to move the transmission crossmember.
