Size of my tire to wheel

Hi guys-
hope all is well.

I have stock wheels on my Scout. Dont know how wide they are. Im guessing at least 10 or 11 inches wide.

I have a 2.5 rc lift and a 1 inch body lift and fresh body bushings and I want to run 33" tires.

My question is can I run 33 10.5 15s or is the 10.5 too narrow and im going to have bead issues?

I dont want to use 12.50 because its just too big of a tire in the well and I prefer a skinny tire.

Im basically looking for a rule of thumb on make sure the bead stay put!

I put a pic of the wheel in here. Its a standard 79 Scout steel wheel.

Thanks!

33" should fit fine. I'm not sure about the width though.

I currently have a set off 33"x 12.5 tires on 15 x 10 rims mounted on my 72 Scout on completely stock suspension. I have not driven it like that. But the tires stuffs the wheel wells kinda tight. About an inch, or so, of clearance in the fenders. The 12.5" wide tire doesn't stick out that much from the fenders. I used to have a set of 33x12.5 tires mounted on 15x8 rims with out issues.

If the 12.5" width tire is a concern, then the rims can have different back spacing. But that requires new rims.

I bought a new set of 16"x7" rock chucker rims and run 265/75 - 16 lt truck tires, which are 33" tall. My Scout is on 4" lift springs and no body lift. They fit the wheel wells perfectly. The mud stays below chrome strip. Before with the stock 10.5 - 31's there would be mud on the hood.

Thanks for the replies-
what im trying to find out if my stock rim is too wide to have a 10.5 inch tire on it. Is there a ratio of the width of the tire to rim that I need to stay in between?

There is some kind of chart out there for recommendations, that I have seen, but lost that memory cell some whare. Might wanna try a reputable tire shop and ask.
