Yesterday ken, lewis, evie, nick, lyla and me took a trip all the way up skamania mines road and made it to the mines.
The only problem was the lack of a camera!
We found the mines, and a couple of ancient log dams. Lots of interesting rocks. It was a good trip, and the Travelall and nicks pickup made it without issues (other then nick running outa gas!)
we are going to try to repeat the fun next weekend.
I was thinking starting in washougal, going up to the falls at the end of lewis river road and taking loggin road 1200, stop for the hike to the top of silver star mountain, and end the day at our place in yacolt.
This would be weather permitting.
