funny how the romans don't have a character for zero.
So it would have to be Sierra Scouts II
would that make the those who have a Scout 80/800 feel left out?

Getting out of the military and heading back to norcal. Don't have a running (or near running) Scout. I own basically a rolling chassis of a 74. Going to put a Chevy 350 with a turbo400 under it. This is a project for me my Dad and my grandfather to all work on together. But I would like to still join with my family

Anybody run the barker pass road?

You enter the rubicon trail on the lake tahoe side, then about a 1 mile or so in. The rubicon trail is on the left, but keep going straight puts you on barker pass road. It loops back around to tahoma by the lake.

Craig, last I heard on barker pass road is its very tight and lots of trees. Anyone with a decent finish May want to avoid that trail.

So what is the difference between Sierra Scouts and norcal?

Sierra Scouts was/is supposed to be a somewhat official club where as nor-cal scouts is just a group of guys, nothing official.

NorCal Scouts was formed by some of us that were members of another club. NorCal Scouts are the guys that wheeled, the other guys pretty much just wanted to have meetings and talk about it.

there were also some political issues that I don't wan to get into.

The other club was not Sierra Scouts, just to be clear.
