I've been skimming thru most of the threads looking for answers and found that the collective knowledge of this forum has been extremely helpfull. But I regret to inform you that I have been left with even more questions now than when I started. But here goes.
I am interested in your shackle reversal kit but I am wondering if it is the right item for me. I have a full lenght Dana 60 front from a Chevy that I want to install. Question... The bar that goes across the fangs is it long enough to accomodate the inch or so that I need to widen the space between the spring perches? And if not, should I buy the fangs by themselves? I welded a plate about 1/4" thick to my frame where the fangs should go. If I leave it as is would it affect the pinion angle? I understand you can also shorten diff's, what would be the cost to shorten the ones I have Chevy Dana 60 and 14 bolt both from a dually but I have changed the hubs to single wheel hubs on the Dana 60.

If you need one of our reverse shackle kits tailored for your specific build then please call when you are ready to order as we'll be glad to accomodate you. We will also be glad to discuss with you about narrowing your axles.

Ordered the shackle reversal fangs yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks for the promt service. Just a few hours later I received confirmation of my order and shipping details. Must say you guys are on top of things. Thanks. Be assured I"ll be buying more items from you for my Scout.
