Seat Belt with Shoulder Harness

Hi, I just registered and this is my first post.

I did not see this issue covered elsewhere. I am looking at purchasing a 1978 Scout terra pickup. I believe these only have lap belts. What would be necessary in order to install a seat belt with shoulder harness?

Look in the upper right and left rear corners of the inside cab. That rig May have a small metallic "button" protruding from the inner skin. If so, then those are the anchor points for the shoulder belt end tabs. There will be threaded "backers" installed on the inside structure of the cab top if the holes are there.

Ok, I will check it out when I get to see the vehicle in person.

I would be surprised if the fiberglass top (that's correct for the terra, right?) would be strong enough to use as a mount point for a shoulder harness, which is why I asked of course.

They have a square tube metal 'frame' inside them.
