Scout outters on Chevy inners?

I have a Chevy spring over axle. I have already did the cut and turn. Been trying to gather all of the parts to finish but with hunting season approaching I need save cash(hunting deer in wyoming).

Can I mount everything from the knuckle out on my Scout 44 to the Chevy 44. I get that I will not have high steer but I would save tons of cash temporarily.

Your thoughts?
 
The differential, ring and pinion are the same between the two. Unless one is high pinion, which is highly unlikely. Furds primarily is one who uses high pinion d-44's.

With that said, from all I have read and researched, it seems more common to to use Scout inner axles and Chevy outers, except with furd rotors & hubs. Other than that, if the cheby axle was cut to match the Scout axle length, including the c's, I don't see why all the Scout part couldn't be used. I'm fairly certain that the c's are the same between the two axles.
 
They are all the same and will bolt onto each other with no problems. As long as your Chevy inners use a 297x ujoint you will be just fine.
 
Well thats good news. Looks like I will be getting some lift on a budget then.
I will swap my 3.54 gears into the new center section and be on my way.
That will give me time to gather up all of the other parts I will need to run the Chevy outter "c"s like hubs, calipers, histeer arms...etc.
