SCOUT II SPRINGS.....

I have been looking around for some new springs to install on my 1975 Scout II.....

I am aware of all the company's that make springs for the Scout II.
Such as, Skyjacker, Rough Country, rancho, and so on.......

I was just wondering if anyone has ever used lets say Jeep, Chevy, or Ford springs on a Scout II.....I know I have to consider the width of the spring, 2"......I believe....

Any thoughts??????

Any other manufacturer's 2" wide springs usually cannot handle the weight of a Scout. Either stick with the Scout specific lift springs or cut all hangers and mounts off in favor of 2.5" wide leafs so then you can run most GM/Ford springs. We usually use 48" long GM springs w/ our rs kit in the front.

I run superlift 4inch lift sprung over a Chevy Dana 44 having the weight of a Nissan deisal ...made over rubicon and havent broke them...lol... Knock on wood
