scout II seats

Has anybody heard of using old pt cruiser seats in a Scout II?
I have the bench seats in my Scout II, have some high buckets in my parts Scout II. But had heard of some local guys putting pt cruiser buckets in there scouts. Just wondered if this would be cheaper than getting my Scout buckets redone, and if it was even a decent swap?

I haven't heard about that one yet. I personally used a set of front seats from a 99' izuzu amigo. Comfortable and both seats fold down and slide forward for easy access for passenger to get into the back bench seat.

I'm thinking of going with recaro style seats just because of the wide variety and I've seen some great prices online, comparable with previously owned seats. Plus I plan on getting rid of the bench seat in the back and go with buckets.

Would love to see your final result.
