Scout II parts A.P.B. - I need a...

I am in need of a few small items to wrap up the steering on my bro's Scout II...

If you have any of the following items - -and could be talked into selling, trading, donationg, throwing my way, I would be greatful.

1) Scout II tilt column. (Mike roth was on the hunt for one..)

2) 4 stack crank pulley for an sv motor(1 small one on the inside, 3 of the same size)

3) factory steering stablizer (the flat sprig steel bar that connects the front shackles together)

that should do it!

I will be at the IHSTO Christmas party this Friday if you can deliver said items - or want to haggle in person and try and get the best price out of me... :gringrin: I am already bringing money for mayben as he came through with a rebuilt 727 and a pair of d44 axles!! :gringrin: :gringrin:

See if this is the pulley set you are looking for.

This is a crank hub from a 304 (not a harmonic balancer) with a four stack pulley set.

I also have a harmonic balancer from a 345 but the pulleys are part of the unit except for the front one which bolts on separately. But I can't let go of that one as it's for an engine build I'm doing now.

Here's the hub disassembled. Notice the shim between the smaller pulley and the first larger one. I'd not noticed that deal before but Jeff trained me about that!

This assembly belongs to Jeff/ihon. I brought it home to use for setting up a crank trigger/flying magnet ignition system. Now I'm through with it.

If ya think this will work I'll bring it Friday. If you can use it, then settle up with Jeff/ihon directly.

He also has at least 15+ of the sii front "anti-sway" bars (used) on the shelf. We pulled one from the shelf to use on that sii rally that skip bought from dave and carol last November and we then drove to texas.

Chris, I found a tilt column but it is in need of work. I'll bring it to the party and you can take a look and see what you think. I forgot to look for the factory steering stablizer. :icon_eh: but I will try to look today..:gringrin:

Mike is that the steering column you got from me? If it is it does need work, but it isn't anything chris can't handle. If that doesn't work out I May have another available.

I think this mught be a differnt one. That one had a cut push rod right? I'm pretty sure I fixed that one and sold it to shane.....:winky:
 
Sorry to barge in here chris:devil: but if anyone has some Scout 2 driveshafts that they would like to sell and bring to the party, I would be much appreciative. Looking for ones off a 4spd. Thanks and see ya'll at the party!:winky:
 
Ok, the pulley set and hub are in the trailer, don't let me forget to give 'em to ya! Like all used IH hubs and balancers, this one needs a speedeesleeve bad!
 
I got a tilt steering column for Mike roth -- but it is in pretty sorry shape and I am not sure it will end up working...

Anyone got another one? Monte?

I will trade you a tilt column for a regular column. The pink Scout has a tilt in it, I just need a column to replace it with. If that is what you want to do, help me pull it out and it is yours.

Write it down inna safe place so ya can send dinero onna monthly basis rather than throwing it in the "other" collection plate.

Do ya want me to ship that hub and pulley? I can come up yore way next week and deliver it to yore door if ya kin wait, I gotta get the trailer way from terry before he tries ta pawn it. I should have the beater towrig roadworthy agin by tomorrow sumtime, doing the "almost took a dump" side today.

You can bring the pulley up next week if you are coming this way.

The trailer is still in front of my house -- hopefully it will go to terry's on Friday.

More parts needed:

1) Scout II sv v8 fan shroud (who would drive a truck around California without a fan shroud?? Apparently some idiot - when my brother bought the truck it had a 17 psi radiator cap on it and about $1500 worth of repair receipts for overheating problems... Yet still no shroud :d)

You sure? I'll trade if you want. The one I have is in good shape - good key - etc.

Ok chris you help me pull out the tilt and put in the new one you got a deal. It shouldn't take long because the inside has been stripped of the dash, wiring, gauges, etc... Are you in a huge hurry? I am kinda busy for the next few weekends.

Did you come up with one of these? I have a couple kicking around.
Thought I might catch you when ya brought mm's trailer over.
