Scout II door locks

So a while back someone stole my bag of tools which had the only set of Scout keys I had in it . I've replaced the ignition but now I don't have a key to get into the doors , it seems as though replacement door locks are not easy to obtain , I've run across a set for Scout 80/800 and a set for " late Scout " 77- up my Scout is a 75' my question is , what's the difference between the different sets ? Can they still be used ? Modified ?

Why not take your previous ign tumbler to a locksmith and have him use it to cut you some new keys from blanks? The webstore here has nos square key blanks with the navistar logo on them for $3.95 each. Or if the logo isn't that important, I'm sure said smith could make the blanks out of any basic GM or amc square head blank he has in his inventory. They're identical. Only difference is the cast logo. Switching the tumbler out of the column is kind of a pita, but at least then you be back to having your door locks match your column, and on the cheap to boot.

The original has already been switched out , but I'll see about getting door locks and hatch locked keyed to the new key , not a bad idea , thanks

I gathered that it was already out. If you still had it, that would make it easy to take to the ls. Then all you'd have to do is swap it back in place of the one you swapped in. Then your column and doors would be the same key again, wouldn't they?

I thought creating a key from a lock , vs re keying the others was quite a bit expensive ... I'll call . Either way , I think it'll work out
