Scout II clutch linkage

While pulling the transmission on the Scout this weekend, I noticed that the clutch linkage between the frame and bell housing was really sloppy. I found the insert in the tube broken and the ball it rides on, frame side, is about 1/4 worn away. Does anyone know if this is a screw on part or is the weld going to need to be cut? Is the ball available?

The ball is welded on. I do have a nos frame piece with the ball attached. Please call our sales office if interested.

While on this subject, I pulled the clutch linkage from my donor last weekend. Like fd, when I looked into the "tube" that fits over the pivot ball on the frame, the inside appears to be worn. There's a wire partially wrapped around the tube that seems to hold something in place. Is there something replaceable inside the tube? If so, does IHPA have it? My frame pivot is good b/c I had an auto. It has a plastic/rubber coating on it now. I assume that gets removed when the clutch linkage is installed?

Thanks!!!

Yup, per the add it is best to replace those when doing a clutch since I bought the last good nos pivot ball in the known universe. ;->
