196, 4 speed, d20, d44's (unknown ratio), manual steering.

Tahiti red

talked to the owner it has been in his family for 20 years or so - hasn't been driving in about 6 years - had carb trouble right now so it won't start (go figure)...

Typical oregon rust with some living at the coast rust as well.

Located on walnut st. Between 4th and 5th.

If you want the guys email let me know... He doesn't have a phone.

The 196 lights my fire for the roth collection! 2009 is going down as "the year of the IH fourbanger"! Anda four speed to boot??? Perfect!
 
Yeah, 4cyl and 4 speed. Prolly has 4.10 axles, very desirable. But prolly drum braked front 44 or disked d30. That reminds me, I need to get my 196 from ihcs one of these days. Hope its still there:icon_neutral:

btw, price of scrap right now is $40 a ton. Yes, $40 a ton. Its almost not worth it to scrap rigs anymore:nono:

It's here waiting for you. When do you want to come get it? If that Scout is a 1976 it should have a d44 with discs shouldnt it? It doesn't seem to matter much the guy hasn't emailed me back yet anyway...:icon_eh:

Sorry, thought it was a 74. Guess I need to learn how to read again.

I'm getting settled in canby so some room is opening up at my old mans. I'll try and get that out of there soon.
