scout 800 steering box->>power steer

My next can o' worms... My steering column busted the other day right at that rubber ring that holds the upper and lower steering column.. So what I need to do now is find out what power steering box and pump would fit on my truck. I looking to bolt on but if needed then weld also....here is a pic of bolt conversion.

Are you saying the rag joint broke? Not clear from the pic. The simplest fix would be to replace the rag joint with a new service part. I don't know that there is a direct bolt on ps conversion for the 800. I know a Scout II setup can be made to work with careful measuring, drilling and some fab work. You need the steering gear, the ps pump and all associated bracketry. Then while you're at it, you might as well do away with the rag joint all together and go with a borgeson or flaming river joint coupler.
