Scout 800 door question

The door(s) need to be off the rig to do this john.

Remove the interior panel including the window hardware/window, etc. And set aside.

Then simply go around the interior side of the door skin/inner overlay and drill out the spot welds that retain the skin to the door frame. They sit on about a 3">4" spacing around the door frame. The spots are rather small, so I think this could be easily done with say a shortened 1/2" bit that has had it's tip re-ground into more of a spot-facer.

Once the spots are drilled out, then ya just start trying to pull the skin away, you will find a few additional spots that you missed so deal with those as needed.

Thanks michael. I looked for spot welds, and I couldn't see any. Now that I know they are small, I will proceed. Appreciate it. Pineneedle

Look very carefully around the inside of the door skin edge, the "spots" are very small but they are there. You should be able to feel 'em with a finger.

You might also run a sanding disc around the inside of the skin so you can then see 'em pop up.
