I just received the Scout 80 master cylinder for front disc and rear drum. When I opened it up I noticed that it didn't have a place to screw in the brake pressure switch. The picture online looks like it has a port on the front of the master cylinder as the original did. Is there no place to screw in the switch or did I an anomaly?

The replacement master cylinder does not have a port for the hydraulic pressure switch. If you would like to install one, you would need to buy a brass 3 way fitting at your local auto parts store that is (whatever port size you were using) male inverted flare to female inverted flare with a 1/8" npt fitting at a 90 for the switch. Or you can remove the brake pedal stop, enlarge the hole, and install a sii/GM electrical brake switch and route the wiring back into the cab for that. Part on our online store:
